Rock Springs Ramble
5k & 1 Mile Fun Run

Virtual Event
April 10, 2021

Online Registration

Support local natural areas and wildlife at the first Rock Springs Ramble 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run!

This fundraiser supports the Macon County Conservation Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps fund natural area restoration and educational programs at the Macon County Conservation District, and it’s Rock Springs Nature Center.

COVID-19 has highlighted the importance of natural areas, and our need for fresh air and space in nature. By registering to run or walk, you support these natural areas and their wildlife.

Register Before Noon on April 9, 2021

With the COVID-19 pandemic, continued outdoor gathering restrictions, and your health and safety in mind, the planning committee has made the 2021 Rock Springs Ramble a VIRTUAL event.

What’s a Virtual Event?

Virtual events give you the flexibility of choosing when and where you’d like to complete your walk or run.

You are invited to run/walk on your own at

  1. Rock Springs Conservation Area
  2. Your favorite natural area
  3. Any other location, on any day of your choosing

You may still run/walk at Rock Springs on Saturday, April 10, but it will be “on your own” and not officially timed or organized.

Race Swag

Those registered for the 5k and 1-mile Fun Run, will receive a finishers medal, cloth buff, and a hand-painted wildlife rock award, created by local artist Sheryl Polley. Children registered for the Kid’s Fun Run will receive a tree cookie and a nature grab bag item.

Packet Pickup

Registered participants may pick up their items at their convenience from inside Rock Springs Nature Center, any time during Nature Center hours, from now through the end of April.

Registration is $30/Virtual 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run and $5/Virtual Kid’s Fun Run.

Register online by noon on Friday, April 9 at RunSignup.
